Halloween :)

So tomorrow is Halloween and I am rrreally excited about it. I'm being kinda lame though because I'm not actually going to be able to go out this year. My parents are going out of town tomorrow and they needed someone to watch our dog, Buster. I live at Sunchase and we don't have any dogs in our apartment right now, so my roommates and I can't wait to have him over. He doesn't like strangers very much though, so I hope we don't have any trick-or-treaters, for their sake. He's not very nice haha. Instead of gong out in a crazy costume this year, I get to stay in and play with my puppy :) I know it's kind of boring, but I am actually really happy to bring a piece of home to Farmville for the night.

Blog 2

Don't you just wish that on days that you don't feel well, you could just stay home and lay in bed all day long without missing any class work? I do, especially today. But nope, you have to just suck it up and go to class. And if you're REALLY lucky, then you'll probably have to work that night, as well.

Anyways, enough complaining. I'm really excited that it's finally getting cold outside. Fall is one of the prettiest seasons and it leads up to the BEST holidays. The change to cold weather is probably the reason everyone is sick, but it's worth it. Walmart already has all of it's Halloween decorations out, and even some Christmas ones, too. September is going to really fast, but I'm glad. The sooner we get past Fall, the sooner we can start getting some snow days :)

1st Blog Ever

I'm 21, attending a small University in Virginia during the school year, and I work a fulltime job during the summer. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life after college, but I have faith that everything will work itself out in the end. I have an older sister that I am living with for the summer and a younger brother that still lives at home with my parents. My family is very important to me, even though we fight constantly. I think that conflict makes a relationship stronger, both with family members and with your significant other. A perfect relationship is not a real one.
I am a Communications Major with a Music Minor. I love to talk and I love to sing, so I think these fields suited me best. I would probably be majoring in Music still if there was a more stable living promised once I received my degree. I am happy with the major I chose though. Communications has taught me how listen more and pay attention to every little detail, not just the verbals. My sister was a Communications Major and liked the department and the teachers so she recommended it to me when I was considering switching majors. For once, I took her advice.
